Past and Present: A Peek into the Departments of Concordia College (Scalar)
The mission of this project is to accurately and faithfully research and depict the first departments and majors of Concordia College in order to learn about the students and staff who used to inhabit this campus. The evolution of these original departments is documented, starting from 1911 because that is the year the college curriculum was first introduced. From this point forward, departments were created, they developed and they grew into what we know them to be today. While this project is still developing, it does currently contain information for thirty six departments, some which still exist to this day, and some that have ended over time. It is the hope of the current researchers that this project continue and grow to eventually include all departments that Concordia has, and had.
Student authors: Allison Cassell, Ronnie Johnson, Heather Loy, and McKaya Wolsky. Course instructor: Dr. Joy K. Lintelman.
